Since 2017, Alabama WINGS has worked to improve guardianship and conservatorship practices in Alabama. The mission of Alabama WINGS is to deliver information, resources, and tools throughout the legal system and to the public as a means of providing appropriate decision-making supports and protective services to individuals. ADAP works to ensure that a person’s right to self-determination is not restricted or harmed by guardianships and conservatorships.
